Our 37 hour, 'Intro to MLD' course is beginner-friendly, four-day training that introduces the lymphatic system and research based Fluoroscopy Guided Manual Lymphatic Drainage (FG-MLD). Delivered by leading experts of Lymphology and MLD

Training consists of (non-exhaustive list)  

• Introduction to anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system

• Indications, contraindications and safe, effective treatment

• Introduction to Manual Lymphatic Drainage:

  • Fluoroscopy Guided MLD for health and wellness

  • Lymphatic drainage pathways

  • Hand positions, speed, timing and manoeuvers

• Why evidence and research based MLD matters

•  Building foundations to step up to lymphoedema management

By the end of this course, you will be able to carry out simple MLD for a range of clients.

This training is suitable for: Level 3 Manual Therapists and Holistic Therapists who are new to lymphatics, want to expand their skills, or are considering progressing into specialist lymphoedema management.

This course will be delivered through mixed methods (blended learning). The course will contain elements of self study, online live webinars and in-person practical training. There are a total of 37 hours required.

Completion of the course will require passing a multiple choice theory, case study assignment and a final practical skill assessment.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certification in ‘Introduction to Manual Lymphatic Drainage' from one of the UK's most renowned schools of MLD.​

There is no set re-certification for this certificate, however you are welcome to return and join us for other training events in the future.
