Essential Care and Advanced Lymphoedema Management Course Terms and Conditions
- A deposit of £200 is required as a reservation fee.
- Full payment is required if the course is within 6 weeks of commencement.
- A cancellation fee of £200 will be retained if a cancellation arises within 6 weeks prior to commencement date.
- If you decide not to attend the course once the course has started full payment will be retained.
- Course fee may be transferred into another name or used for a later course (retention fee still payable if less than 6 weeks prior and must be booked within 2 weeks of cancellation).
- The course will not commence if less than 10 delegates unless agreed at Director level.
- All delegates are responsible for booking of their own accommodation.
- You are required to attain a pass in both theory and practical examinations of both parts of the course to be qualified as a Certified Lymphoedema Practitioner and ‘Fill and Flush’ FG-MLD
- A provisional ‘licence to Practice’ may be awarded for 6 months in some circumstances.
- You will be required to attend all days of the course.
- Prior learning may exclude you from Part 1 of the course and you can attend Part 2 (Advanced Management of Lymphoedema- ‘Fill and Flush’/ FG-MLD).
- Re-take of either Practical or Theory examination will be £50 each part.
- Failure to take the examination on the due day due to sickness/ weather or other unforeseen circumstances will result in a retake fee.
- Re-takes must be taken within 12 months to gain certification.
- Attendance of a 2 day review is required initially after 1 year and then a 1 day Review every 2 years thereafter to maintain registration.

- Course fee may be transferred into another name or used for a later course (retention fee still payable if less than 6 weeks prior and must be booked within 2 weeks of cancellation).
- The course will not commence if less than 10 delegates unless agreed at Director level.
- All delegates are responsible for booking of their own accommodation.
- A provisional licence may be awarded for 6 months in some circumstances. You must attend a 1 day review within 12 months to obtain full certification at the cost of £50.
- You will be required to attend all day/s of the course.
- Attendance of a review is required to maintain certification.
All 1 day Courses
- Full payment is required before commencement of course.
- A cancellation fee of 50% will be retained if a cancellation arises within 6 weeks prior to commencement date.
- Course fee may be transferred into another name or used for a later course (retention fee still payable if less than 6 weeks prior and must be booked within 2 weeks of cancellation).
- The course will not commence if less than 10 delegates unless agreed at Director level.
- All delegates are responsible for booking of their own accommodation.
